Inspecting power lines with drones is faster, more efficient and safer
Dominion Virginia Power used a remote controlled drone to fly a camera to inspect energized high-voltage lines near White Stone on August 12. It was Dominion’s first official patrol of a power line using the cutting edge technology of an unmanned aerial vehicle.

Habitat for Humanity Middlesex dedicated its seventh new home on Sunday and turned the keys over to the new owners, Carla Robertson and family. About 40 people attended the dedication to celebrate the completion of the new home. They included Habitat board members, volunteers, family members and friends.
