County’s small boat owners would pay more, large boat owners less
The Middlesex County Board of Supervisors learned at its December meeting that if the county goes to a boat license fee versus the current personal property tax rate on boats, it will shift more of the financial burden to owners of smaller boats, especially those 21 to 30 feet in length.
