County receives $118,000 grant for dredging of Jackson Creek
The Virginia Port Authority Board in Norfolk has awarded Middlesex County a $118,000 grant for dredging the mouth and channel leading into Jackson Creek in Deltaville, Middlesex County Administrator Matt Walker told the Board of Supervisors at its regular monthly meeting on June 7.

‘Museum In The Streets’ project is making progress

The tour is designed to lead visitors and residents through a cultural and historical journey that enlightens, educates and encourages visitors and others to learn of Urbanna’s diverse history.

Coalition enters SCC regulatory process to block Dominion Towers
Save the Rappahannock Coalition announced this week it has filed a Notice of Participation as a Respondent with the Virginia State Corporation Commission seeking to require Dominion Virginia Power to use an alternative to its proposed transmission towers crossing the Rappahannock River.
