After concerns are aired, council holds hearings on budget amendments
At its August 15 meeting, the Urbanna Town Council skipped the required public hearing on one of its budget amendments—but then backtracked. Only when Southside Sentinel reporter Tom Chillemi insisted that a public hearing had not been held, and it was on that night’s agenda, did council hold the public hearing.
