During Saturday’s 66th commencement exercises at Middlesex High School, featured speaker Dr. Sarah Johnson delivered a four-part address that advised the 85 seniors to “reinvent” themselves, have a plan, be patient and persistent, and be grateful.

The new Virginia state boating law, passed in 2007, requires all motorboat and personal watercraft operators to have a valid boating safety course completion card onboard when in operation. Requirements of the law are nearing full enforcement.
