Bridge inspection scheduled for Tuesday, April 16
The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) will be conducting a routine inspection of the Robert O. Norris bridge on Tuesday, April 16. Motorists will be restricted to one lane on the bridge between 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.

Lifeguard and CPR classes offered at Bethpage
This summer Bethpage Camp-Resort near Urbanna will offer complete lifeguard certification and CPR for lay responders (non-lifeguards) classes this spring, as well as re-certification courses in life-guarding and CPR.

Time has come to clean up Middlesex
The Middlesex County Board of Supervisors is encouraging the entire county to start spring cleaning. To help in this effort, county officials will notify landowners, who are not looking after their property, of the county’s concerns.
