Intersection in front of Food Lion to be discussed
Virginia Department of Transportation officials will hold a public informational meeting to discuss traffic problems and solutions at the Food Lion intersection in Saluda. The meeting will be from 5-7 p.m. on Thursday, February 13, at the Cooks Corner Business Complex on Route 33, two miles east of Saluda.

Kirstin Cole has returned to her home after being hospitalized from a car accident on August 18, 2013. Shortly after the accident, her family placed a purple and green ribbon around the tree involved in her accident. On Sunday, January 26, Kirstin, her family and members of the Middlesex County Volunteer Rescue Squad met at the tree to cut off the ribbon.
