March is American Red Cross Month
President Barack Obama has signed a proclamation recognizing March as American Red Cross Month, a tradition dating back to 1943 when President Franklin Delano Roosevelt signed the first such proclamation.

Volunteers working with the AARP Tax-Aide program will be at the Deltaville Library on Thursday, April 2, to assist people with their income tax. AARP Tax-Aide is administered by the AARP Foundation in cooperation with the IRS.

Maybe the first thing noticed was an increase in vehicles swerving to avoid that nasty “thump.” The sound itself is enough to make one cringe with concern for his precious vehicle.
