Judge tells plaintiff to provide condo suit documents

The grand jury charges that Filling “did unlawfully and feloniously, wrongfully and fraudulently and knowingly use, dispose of, conceal or embezzle” a total of $50,371 from the rescue squad between April 2, 2005 and December 31, 2010. On Tuesday effective at 5:39 p.m., Filling resigned all of his positions related to Urbanna.

For Carl Dize Sr. of Urbanna it was 66 long years coming, but well worth the wait. The United States Coast Guard officially recognized Dize’s 1944 act of heroism during World War II by presenting him with the “Coast Guard Commendation Medal” on Sunday.
