Years of negotiating have failed. A trial date has been set for the Potomac Timber Investment’s lawsuit over Urbanna Town Council’s rejection of Potomac’s site plan for proposed condominiums to be built at Urbanna Yachting Center.

The Urbanna Town Council approved a resolution asking the Virginia General Assembly to amend the town charter so town elections can be held in November. Currently, the town election is in May. Last year the State Board of Elections notified the town it would no longer fund any costs for May elections.
