Bay Aging responds to recent state reports critical of the agency
Bay Aging is a private, nonprofit agency with facilities in 14 counties from the Northern Neck to James City County. Following two separate governmental reviews last year, Bay Aging has received reports critical of its administrative procedures as well as board oversight.

Middlesex County School Superintendent Rusty Fairheart told the county school board Monday that the Virginia House of Delegates and State Senate have adopted two different budget plans. The Senate plan is more beneficial to county schools, he said, because it holds the Composite Index (CI) at its current level.

A “search inventory and return” record filed in Middlesex County Circuit Court on February 8 states that the regional BB&T branch in Lumberton, North Carolina, has provided police with the banking records of the former treasurer of the Central Middlesex Volunteer Rescue Squad, George Lewis Filling of Urbanna.
