Student recovering from Swine Flu
On the evening of Friday, June 5, Middlesex Schools Superintendent Rusty Fairheart was notified by Dr. Thomas Irungu, director of the Three Rivers Health District, that a student at Middlesex Elementary School has been diagnosed with H1N1 (Swine Flu).

Consumers who do not subscribe to pay television services and have older, analog televisions will need to have digital-to-analog converter boxes attached to their televisions in order to continue receiving over-the-air television programming. Consumers may also need to adjust or upgrade their antennas.

The Robert O. Norris Bridge painting project continues. Lane closures will be in effect from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. from Monday, June 8, through Friday, June 12. The Norris Bridge is on Route 3 over the Rappahannock River and connects Middlesex and Lancaster counties.
