Several county offices on November 8 ballot
Middlesex County voters will go to the polls on November 8, 2011 to elect three supervisors, three school board members and most constitutional officers. Up for grabs is one seat from each of Middlesex County’s three voting districts for the Middlesex Board of Supervisors and the Middlesex School Board.

A “search inventory and return” record filed in Middlesex County Circuit Court on February 8 states that the regional BB&T branch in Lumberton, North Carolina, has provided police with the banking records of the former treasurer of the Central Middlesex Volunteer Rescue Squad, George Lewis Filling of Urbanna.

The trial of Steven W. Nixon of Montpelier on charges involving a fatal boat crash on the evening of July 5, 2010 is scheduled for 9 a.m. on Thursday and Friday, February 17-18, in Lancaster County Circuit Court. According to court records, Nixon faces nine felonies.
