Middlesex man arrested on sexual assault charges
The arrest is the result of an investigation by the Middlesex Sheriff’s Office into a report of a 13-year-old North Carolina female being sexually assaulted while visiting family in the county during late June and early July.

Council tables action on revised golf cart ordinance
imageOn Monday, the Urbanna Town Council tabled a proposed version of an ordinance that would regulate the operation of golf carts on town streets. Currently, golf carts that are driven on town streets are governed by a Middlesex County ordinance, which is set to expire.
