Saluda sewage treatment plant permit approved
On Monday afternoon, a unanimous State Water Control Board (SWCB) approved a discharge permit for a 39,900-gallons-per-day (GPD) treatment plant to serve the Middlesex Courthouse, county offices and part of Saluda.

Two projects on the Middlesex County Capital Improvement Plan have been completed—a new Middlesex High School roof and T-hangars at Hummel Field. There are still 31 projects on the CIP, which is a planning tool completed in 2007 to assist the county board of supervisors in developing budgets.
