BB&T official: Decision to close town branch ‘difficult’
When Urbanna was selected as the town site for Middlesex County in 1680, Ralph Wormeley of Rosegill was paid in tobacco for the 50 acres allotted to create a town, but for over 20 years he would not let surveyors on town property.
