Jackson Creek dredging completed
The Jackson Creek dredging project in Deltaville is complete and the Army Corps of Engineers post-dredge survey showed it was an “outstanding” job, Middlesex County Administrator Matt Walker told the Board of Supervisors on Tuesday.

A cold front blew in some very unusual weather to parts of Middlesex county on Saturday, February 25. Mike Lucas, who lives in Wake on Wake Road, said the storm hit at approximately 4:50 p.m. and started with heavy rain that quickly turned to small hail. The hail became larger and larger and lasted approximately until 5:04 p.m.
