Urbanna hopes to have pool ready for Memorial Day
Following a nearly 2-hour closed session on April 29, the Urbanna Town Council voted to spend another $8,300 for a bonding sealer as part of the ongoing major repairs at the town pool. Council also voted to eliminate other repairs, which will save about $20,000.

The 2nd annual RE Strong Run 5K and 10K races and 1-mile Family Fun Run were held Saturday, April 25, at Hewick Plantation near Urbanna. The event had a total of 547 registered runners/walkers.
