‘African American Humor’ to be topic of Middlesex Museum Black History Month program
"African American Humor: Striving and Surviving" will be the title of a talk by Dr. Daryl Cumber Dance at 3 p.m. on Sunday, February 19, at the Historic Middlesex Courthouse, 877 General Puller Highway, Saluda.

African-American history to come alive
Sunday afternoon story-telling is a tradition in Daisy Howard-Douglas’ family, one she fell in love with listening to her father as a child. In her February 12 gallery dramatization, Miss Daisy will share the experiences of a Buffalo Soldier from the Civil War era.
Cast and crew of “Radical Rappahannock”
Not only are students doing all of the singing and dancing, but they have written the script and designed the set, logo and costumes. Students also are handling all video, media, tech design and house management.
