Urbanna Christmas House Tour to feature five homes
On Saturday, December 7, Urbanna will once more be the destination of an ever-growing number of people who make the Urbanna Christmas House Tour an annual tradition. The tour will be from 10 a.m.-4 p.m.
Christmas Friends needs delivery vans and crews
Christmas Friends shoppers have hit the road, thanks to several volunteers who worked many hours last week to assemble their packets of information, including a “wish list” for each of the 300 children and senior adults to be served in 2013.
American Legion Riders to be in Urbanna Christmas Parade
The American Legion Riders is an official program within the American Legion. They are well known for their charitable work, which has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for local children’s hospitals, schools, veterans homes, severely wounded service members and scholarships.
RCC library features Pomaska murals
“I’m so happy that I took the challenge,” said Urbanna artist Anna Pomaska about her venture into mural painting in the Children’s Room of the Rappahannock Community College/Richmond County Public Library.
