imageThe Knights of Columbus, Fr. John Boddie Assembly 3349, held its annual Memorial Day Service on Monday, May 29, in the cemetery of the Church of the Visitation. The ceremony started with a procession to the cemetery.

Orchestra & Chorale to present ‘America the Beautiful’
The Northern Neck Orchestra, led by music director and conductor Michael Repper, and the Chesapeake Chorale, led by Dr. Cheryl Davis, are in the final stages of preparation for their concert of American music this Saturday, June 3, at 7:30 p.m. at the Lancaster Middle School Theatre in Kilmarnock.

Fan-favorite Oldies Show is Saturday at Li’l Ole Opry
Virginia’s Li’l Ole Opry will kick up its heels this Saturday, June 3, and take the audience back in time to the “good ol’ days” of country and rock-and-roll. The show will feature the house band, "Shades of Country," all of the Opry regulars, and some amazing guest stars performing the best songs of the 50s, 60s and 70s.

Local musician lines up sounds for Arts in the Middle festival
imageArranging the musical lineup for a festival requires musical knowledge, experience and contacts within the industry. Organizers of the Arts in the Middle fine arts show on Saturday and Sunday, June 3-4, at Hewick Plantation near Urbanna called on Clayton Neal, the popular and long-established musician of Middlesex County and the region, to produce a variable and enjoyable music program.
