The loss of Lucy, Urbanna’s visiting goose
The goose came to Urbanna and quickly touched the imaginations of many in the short time he was here. Like many who settle around this port town, the goose was a stranger for only a little while, and soon he was called “Lucy” (as in “Lucy Goosy”) by town residents.

Music Under the Stars starts this Saturday
“Music Under the Stars” is a series of four concerts presented by the Special Events Committee of the Urbanna Business Association. Concerts are scheduled for the third Saturday evening of each month through August.
