Historic ‘Wilton’ open for public tours on May 9
On Saturday, May 9, the public is invited to celebrate the preservation of “Wilton” with open tours of this National Historic Landmark, which was built in 1763.
Eggs almost ready to be hunted at maritime park
Those elusive, elliptical, eggs filled with candy and jelly beans are being stuffed full and almost ready to be hidden from 1-3 p.m. on Saturday, April 4, in all those obscure spots in the gardens, lawns, arbors and grounds of Deltaville Maritime Museum.
‘Mountain Music Concert’ set for Saturday
A “Mountain Music Concert” will be held at 7 p.m. on Saturday, March 21, at Gloucester Arts on Main (GAM) featuring the Mark Campbell Family Band. “Mark is famous for his commitment to the heritage of Virginia Old-time Music,” said a GAM spokesperson.
Classical musical event to feature ‘The Four Seasons’
The third in a series of musical performances to benefit the Northern Neck Orchestra will be held at Good Luck Cellars in Kilmarnock on Friday, April 10, at 7 p.m. The “Callinectes Musical Consort” will perform Antonio Vivaldi’s concerti “The Four Seasons.”
