Library wants to replace cookbooks with errors
Unfortunately, when they did the second printing, their computer picked up their uncorrected typed copy for the first 16 pages. These pages had 18 typos, including the spelling of Urbanna on the title page (the printer's physical location is close to Urbana, Iowa). We had opened first printing boxes and everything looked great and were unaware that all books had not been printed at the same time.

Farmers’ Market & Pierwalk Promenade Saturday
This Saturday, November 26, the Holiday Gift & Farmers’ Market and Pierwalk Promenade will be at Deltaville Maritime Park and Holly Point Nature Park. Come on out and walk or ride off that turkey! A full slate of activities starts at 9 a.m. with the opening of the gift-oriented market.

Sisters raise over $6,000 for diabetes research

Group to promote ‘Back in the Day’ historical cruises
The Deltaville Maritime Museum’s reproduction of John Smith sailing barge, “Explorer,” was fitted with a user-friendly sailing rig this fall in anticipation of a part in the movie “To Have and To Hold.” Unfortunately, the movie big-wigs decided to use a blue screen instead of the real boat.
