Fifty animals removed from Essex home
Middlesex foster homes for animals are needed. On January 30 animal control departments from Middlesex, King and Queen, Mathews, Northumberland and Westmoreland counties assisted Essex Animal Control in the removal of close to 50 animals from an Essex residence, said Middlesex Animal Control Officer Ricky Warren this week.

Feb. 15 concert to benefit Hands Across Middlesex

‘Virginia Seafood Lover’ license plate unveiled
imageThe Virginia Marine Products Board has announced the new Virginia Seafood Lover license plate. The new license plate is being introduced to support the marketing that is necessary to keep Virginia in the top three largest producers of marine products in the nation, and to help in promoting the aquaculture industry of clams, oysters, and fish.
