Hartfield baby survives salmonella and meningitis

Fifty animals removed from Essex home
Middlesex foster homes for animals are needed. On January 30 animal control departments from Middlesex, King and Queen, Mathews, Northumberland and Westmoreland counties assisted Essex Animal Control in the removal of close to 50 animals from an Essex residence, said Middlesex Animal Control Officer Ricky Warren this week.

Feb. 15 concert to benefit Hands Across Middlesex
imageAt 3 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 15, at Lower United Methodist Church on Route 33 in Hartfield, concert pianist Ellen Tenenbaum will perform a one-hour program of music by Chopin, Schubert, Mozart and Joplin.
