Best in Show at Art on the Half Shell
Accomack artist Richard Toft won Best in Show at last Saturday’s Art on the Half Shell festival in Urbanna with his egg tempera painting “Moonstruck.” Above, show judge Dr. Robert Metzger of Reading, Pa., and artists’ coordinator Pat Hunt of Myrtle Beach, S.C., present Toft with his ribbon and $500 cash prize.

In concert Saturday in Urbanna

Art on the Half Shell: fine art & crafts, music, food

Shane Cooley concert to benefit Zoar
imageShane Cooley will hold a benefit concert for Zoar Baptist Church from 7-9 p.m. on Saturday, May 21, at Deltaville Ballpark. There will be no admission fee. The proceeds will benefit the Zoar post-tornado rebuilding effort.
