Museum launches capital campaign
In February of 2008, the Middlesex County Museum and Historical Society made its first step in restoring the historic County Clerk’s Office in Saluda by meeting with the Virginia Department of Historic Resources. Orchestra to present string recital
imageThe Northern Neck Orchestra (NNO), in association with the Virginia Chapter of American String Teachers Association (VASTA), will present “Opus 2,” a string recital, at Rappahannock Westminster-Canterbury in Irvington at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, February 12.

Black History Program is Thursday at museum
imageOn Thursday, February 2, at 6:30 p.m. the Middlesex County Museum invites the public to attend its 2012 Black History Program. Students participating in Immanuel Baptist Church’s tutorial program will present a skit and song titled “Awaken the Dream: W.A.K.E. U.P.!” It is a creative tribute to the families and students who helped integrate Middlesex County Public Schools in 1963.

RILL course to look at Mexico
