Lansdowne, Marble House featured on Urbanna tour
For the first time the Urbanna Christmas House Tour Committee is opening the doors to “The Marble House,” a Virginia Street landmark, for this year’s event taking place on Saturday, December 8, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Patrons of this year’s tour will only have a short walk between featured houses.

Ghosts, goblins & ghouls to gather at maritime park
imageFrom the ghostly apparitions of the “Field of Screams” to the twisted, tortured, moan-filled pathways of the “Wailing Woods,” the Deltaville Maritime Museum and Holly Point Nature Park will put on their best “Haunted House” look for “Scary Halloween in the Park” from 6-8 p.m. on Halloween day, Wednesday, October 31.

‘F.D. Crockett’ to be at Urbanna Oyster Festival
imageThe hard-working restored buyboat “F.D. Crockett,” pride of the Deltaville Maritime Museum and her outreach program, will be carrying the message of the history of Chesapeake Bay watermen, their fisheries and their boatbuilding methods to Urbanna at the end of next week.
