Irvington Crab Festival tickets increase to $50 July 15
Tickets to the Irvington Crab Festival will increase to $50 on July 15. Tickets for children age 12 and under remain at $10. Tickets may be purchased online at steamboateramuseum.org, at the Steamboat Era Museum Tuesday-Saturday from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. or by calling 438-6888.

Bringing history to life through music
Mary Ball Washington Museum & Library on Sunday, July 9, will present “Between the Great Wars: A Musical Journey through 1920-30s America” by the string band "Ampersand." The program will be presented from 2-4 p.m. at Good Luck Cellars, 1025 Goodluck Road, Kilmarnock.

Museum launches public pilothouse campaign with $50,000 challenge grant
imageThe Steamboat Era Museum in Irvington has started the public phase of the “Pilot the Potomac Home” campaign with a dollar-for-dollar $50,000 matching grant from the Mary Morton Parsons Foundation in Richmond. Every dollar raised will be matched up to $50,000.
