African-American history to come alive
Sunday afternoon story-telling is a tradition in Daisy Howard-Douglas’ family, one she fell in love with listening to her father as a child. In her February 12 gallery dramatization, Miss Daisy will share the experiences of a Buffalo Soldier from the Civil War era.

Gloucester farmer earns Clean Water Farm Award
The 2016 Clean Water Farm Award from the Tidewater Soil and Water Conservation District (TSWCD) has been presented to Benjamin W. South. South is a second generation farmer born and raised in Gloucester County.
