Wings & Wheels is Saturday
The Wings & Wheels car and aircraft show returns to Hummel Airfield in Topping this Saturday, September 26, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Featured this year are race cars and a plane that was used to train pilots in World War II. Other attractions include a children’s carnival, collectable cars and aircraft, antique boats, helicopters, craft vendors and plenty of food. A 1944 Sterman biplane will give plane rides.
“The Honeywind Boys” bluegrass band will perform at 11 a.m.
There is free admission for visitors; however, donations are appreciated. Parking also is available within walking distance for a $5 donation to the Hartfield Volunteer Fire Department.
