American Legion Post 82 of Saluda will host its annual Flag Retirement Ceremony on June 20 at the Legion Post Home. The ceremony will begin at noon and is open to everyone. Boy Scout Troops 341, Troop 370 and Scout Troop 345, the newest Scout troop, will conduct the ceremony.

Those with U.S. flags that have fallen victim to the elements and have been replaced should bring the old flags to Saluda Post 82 at 192 Watson Landing and place it in the red, white and blue receptacle.

Boy Scouts from all three troops and members of Legion Post 82 and its auxiliary also will collect old flags.

For further information, call Keith McAuley, Post 82 American Legion Commander, at (804) 512-8023.
