Urbanna Harbor Gallery will present an exciting new exhibit titled “Urbanna Inspired” beginning Friday, January 18, and continuing through mid-March.
“In celebration of our first exhibit of 2013, we are breaking our own tradition by featuring the colorful and often flashy works of three very talented artists, all residing in Urbanna!” said gallery co-owner Barbara Hartley.
Wanda Hollberg is a well-established glass artist whose work is in much demand. She works in both architectural stained glass and in fused glass jewelry.
The two other featured artists, Ron Courtney and David Dunville, have been lifelong friends with many shared interests. Many know them as “River Rock,” a musical duo playing soft and nostalgic rock with acoustic guitars and harmonicas accompanying their vocals.
The exhibit opens to the public on Friday, January 18, and will run through mid-March. Open hours for the Urbanna Harbor Gallery, Antique Mall, and Custom Framery are Tuesday through Saturday, 10 a.m.-5 p.m., and Sundays 11 a.m.-3 p.m.
Urbanna Harbor Gallery is at 202 Virginia Street, Urbanna. For more information, call Urbanna Harbor Gallery & Art Services at 758-2828.
