On Saturday, September 14, Donk’s Theater in Mathews will present Opry performer Tracy Hill in concert.

“Tracy is one of Donk’s most talented female vocalists whose beautiful voice is powerfully and expertly used to sing songs made popular by Patsy Cline, Wynonna, Reba and even Aretha Franklin,” said a Donk’s spokesperson.

Hill came to Donk’s as a Talent Search contestant in 2000, and has been one of the most talented and most loved performers on the Opry stage. Born and raised in Seaford, she began singing in church when she was 5, and went on to sing with a local band called “Southern Pride,” which entertained locally.

“Tracy has a spectacular voice and the talent to use it wisely, besides that she is a wonderful person and a beautiful young woman. We are proud to present her as the featured entertainer at Donk’s,” said the spokesperson.

This Saturday’s show will also feature Uncle Jimmy Wickham, “Shades of Country,” and the Opry regulars.

Show time is 8 p.m. Tickets are $12 for adults and $5 for children. For tickets, reservations and information, call 725-7760.
