The annual Working Waterman’s Weekend is this weekend in Deltaville
by Bill Powell
Will our “Never-ending Winter” have a last gasp? Well, at least not this weekend as sunny and 70s weather are predicted for the Deltaville Maritime Museum’s Annual Working Waterman’s Weekend (WWW).
The event has expanded to four days, April 24-27, this year at Holly Point Nature Park in Deltaville.
The new museum building is substantially complete and major upgrades have been and are being made to the park’s walkways, gardens and plantings. This official season-opening weekend will be a great time to come out, take a look, and enjoy all the neat stuff!
Deltaville Maritime Museum and Holly Point Nature Park is a non-profit organization at 287 Jackson Creek Road and on Mill Creek. Turn right off Route 33 across from the Shell Station to get there.
To find out everything you need to know about the museum and park, purchase event tickets, donate, volunteer, or become a member visit http://www.deltavillemuseum.com, email or call 776-7200.
