Students experience life of Dr. Martin Luther King

Theatre IV actors in ‘I Have a Dream’

On Friday, March 2, the Arts for Youth program of the Rappahannock Foundation for the Arts sponsored a Theatre IV performance of “I Have a Dream: The Life and Times of Martin Luther King Jr.” by Bruce Craig Miller.

Students from the 4th, 6th, and 7th grades at Lancaster Middle School, and 4th through 7th grade at Chesapeake Academy were treated to a moving performance by the immensely talented Theatre IV actors.

The 2011-2012 Arts for Youth season will conclude on April 23 with a performance at Lancaster High School by the Grammy-nominated “Imani Winds” quintet.
