‘Stuck on a Name’ to perform


“Stuck on a Name” will perform in Kilmarnock on July 18.

The temperature has sure been hot these past couple of weeks and soon to get even hotter in Kilmarnock. On Thursday, July 18, at Town Centre Park the temperature is sure to rise with a live performance from “Stuck On A Name.”

“Here is another great reason to come to the park and see what we have to offer!” said Mayor Mae Umphlett. “Reggae is a brand-new genre for Music on the Half Shell series and we are super excited to welcome Stuck On A Name to the park.”

Voted best local band for 2019 by Best of the Rivah, Stuck On A Name plays originals as well as covering some classic favorites from the reggae genre and more. Stuck On A Name is also known for making the dance floor jump and people wanting more songs.

Special guest “Son’s of Bach” will take the stage starting at 6 p.m. with gates opening at 5:30 p.m. Food will be available on site. Adult beverages will be for sale by Lancaster by the Bay Chamber of Commerce. “Plan to grab your chairs or blankets and head on over to Town Centre Park. You can grab dinner there as you sit back and enjoy fantastic music!” stated Mayor Umphlett.

Music on the Half Shell Stage is a six-concert series and sponsored by Chesapeake Bank. The concerts from June to October will be on the third Thursday of the month. Next up is “The Mullins Sisters” on August 15 with special guests “Something Different Duo.”

This is a ticketed event with a $10 per person charge. Children under 5 years of age are free with a paying adult. Please no coolers, outside food or beverage and no dogs (for their safety). The splash pad will not be operating during the concert. Last splash at 5 p.m.

Tickets are available online at and can be purchased the day of the show at the gate.
