Saluda blood drive will be a memorial to Charles F. Healy
The Mid-Atlantic Region of the American Red Cross will hold a blood drive on Tuesday, March 12, from 1-7 p.m. in the fellowship hall of Saluda Baptist Church.
This blood drive will be held as a memorial to Charles Healy, who was a very faithful volunteer for local Red Cross blood drives. Along with his wife Anita, Charles was willing to help in any way he could serve, and always had a smile for everyone that came to donate. Donations of blood or platelets on March 12 will help “build a better blood supply” and also honor Charles’ memory and years of service.
Remember to drink plenty of water, eat a good meal, and bring a photo ID. Give the “gift of life"—donate blood.
