Rhythm & Brews due Saturday

The Lancaster by the Bay Chamber of Commerce recently announced the third annual Rhythm and Brews by the Bay featuring music, cold beer and food.

This event will return Saturday, June 30, to Town Centre Park, 150 North Main Street, Kilmarnock, and will feature three amazing bands, reported executive director Anna Paparella.

Local favorite J.J. and Company will open the event, followed by Pressing Strings from Annapolis, Md., and Cha Wa from New Orleans. The party will start around 5 p.m. and end at 10 p.m.

“The Lancaster by the Bay Chamber is thrilled to bring such amazing talent to this event,” said Paparella.

Guests can dine on food from local restaurants and food trucks including Byrd’s Seafood, Cora’s Kitchen and Virginia Blue Crab Co. and some favorite cold beverages, all available for purchase.

Paparella urges everyone to bring a blanket or some lawn chairs and the family, but please no outside food, coolers or pets.

Tickets are $20 per person; children younger than 12 are free. Purchase tickets at http://www.lancasterva.com, or call 435-6092.
