‘Rally for the Cure’ golf tourney set for April 30
The fourth annual “Rally for the Cure” golf event will be held at the Piankatank River Golf Club at 9 a.m. on Thursday, April 30.
Proceeds will support cancer research.
The format will plan is for a preferred drive and scoring the two best balls of the foursome. On a chosen par three, there will be a closest to the pin with our grand prize.
The tourney is open to both men and women, and there can be mixed teams. The donation is $20 for “Rally for the Cure,” and a $30 greens fee.

The 2nd Annual Church of the Visitation Golf Tournament is scheduled for Friday, May 1, at the Piankatank River Golf Club in Hartfield.
The tournament is designed to be a memorable community outing with great prizes, souvenirs and refreshments. “We are looking forward to a day of competition, fun and fellowship with our neighbors in Middlesex and surrounding counties,” said an event spokesperson.
The cost per player is $75. All golfers are welcome. Flights will be established before play begins.
Check-in is at 12:30 p.m., and the shotgun start is at 1:30 p.m.
There will be a social period, buffet dinner, and awards ceremony following the golf.
