Queen contestant plans Shrimp Feast, Silent Auction

This Sunday at Maritime Museum

Urbanna Oyster Festival Queen contestant Leigh Harrow and her Little Miss Spat contestant Anna Crown will host a Shrimp Feast and Silent Auction on Sunday, July 28, from 4-7 p.m. at the Deltaville Maritime Museum and Holly Point Nature Park.

Dinner music will be provided by local artist Tom Euler with his acoustic guitar.

Dessert items will be on sale by volunteers from Zoar Baptist Church.

Some of the Middlesex businesses that have graciously donated items or services for the silent auction to date include: Carter’s Cottage Consignments, Chesapeake Yacht Sales at Deltaville Yachting Center, Coffman’s, Doghouse Deli, Gone Coastal, Harrow’s Home Center, Hurd’s Hardware, Latitudes, Nail Trix, Nauti Nell’s, Portraits By Kristee, Posh Salon, River Birch Gifts, Urbanna Therapeutic Massage, Valencia Homes Inc., West Marine, and Wreaths & More.

Tickets are $10 in advance for adults, and $6 for children age 12 and under. Tickets also will be sold at the event for $15 for adults and $10 for children. Tickets may be purchased at Harrow’s Home Center, Hurd’s Hardware, J&W Seafood and Nauti Nell’s.

All proceeds will go toward the reconstruction of the Deltaville Maritime Museum, which was destroyed by fire in July 2012.
