Parks to launch new book in Tappahannock

Former Middlesex County resident Brad Parks will launch his latest book, “Say Nothing,” at a Friends of the Essex Public Library event on Tuesday, March 7. The public is welcome to attend. The dinner will be at the newly-renovated Fairways Bar & Grill at Hobbs Hole Golf Course in Tappahannock.

The event will begin at 6 p.m. with a cash bar, and the buffet chicken dinner will be at 6:30 p.m. Parks will introduce his book after dinner “with his usual wit and wisdom,” said an event spokesperson.

Books will be available for purchase and signing.

Reservations are due by February 28. Call the Essex Library (443-4945) to get a ticket at $25 per person.
