Oyster symposium set for February 21

For its 12th annual symposium, the Garden Club of the Northern Neck, in partnership with the Garden Club of the Middle Peninsula, will offer “The ABCs of the Chesapeake Bay Oyster, a New Industry.”  The presentation will be Thursday, February 21, at Historic Christ Church in the Bayne Center at 420 Christ Church Road, Weems.

The symposium starts with coffee at 9:30 a.m., and the program is from 10 a.m.-noon.  In addition to the presentation, there will be a slide presentation and a time for questions and answers.  The symposium is free and open to the public.
