Northern Neck Artisans will open their doors on April 14

Judy Mooers, a member of the Spinners & Weavers Guild at Rice’s Hotel/Hughlett’s Tavern in Heathsville, will be part of a presentation on the world of ways to spin fiber into yarn.

The Northern Neck Artisan Trail will start a monthly “Open Door Tour” beginning Saturday, April 14. Across the trail that day, sites will feature a diverse collection of special events, classes, tours and tastings, and exclusive open studio experiences.

The Northern Neck Artisan Trail was formed in 2016 as a way to tie together the diversity of hand-crafted talent that exists across the Northern Neck. For more information and links to individual artisan sites listed here, visit and click on the link for “Second Saturdays on the Northern Neck Artisan Trail.” The next “Second Saturday on the Northern Neck Artisan Trail” will be on Saturday, May 12.
