New exhibit to open at Urbanna Harbour Gallery

Urbanna Harbor Gallery & Art Services is pleased to announce the celebration of its first year in business with a new exhibit opening on Friday, May 11.

The first exhibit of its second year runs through July 11. The group show includes Gordon Martin of Lanexa, whose award-winning decoys will be featured. And, on Saturday, May 12, he will provide a free carving demonstration at the gallery.

Fifteen members of the Virginia Plein Air Painters will fill out the exhibit with a sampling of their works in various media. Participants are: Linda J. Reynolds, Linda Hollett-Bazouzi, and Regina R. Tune from Richmond; Leslie Ann Corbitt, William R. Dompke, and Betsy M. Kellum from Powhatan; Patti MacHale Bartol and Daniel L. Michael from Mechanicsville; Beverley A Bley from Fredericksburg; Donna Roper Doyle from North Chesterfield; Elizabeth Eubanks from Toano; Harvey L Hinson from Glen Allen; Jean A Miller from Midlothian; Barbara Ryan from Palmyra, and Peggy M. Davis from Old Church.

Gallery I features a changing array of established and emerging visual artists. It also offers custom framing, photographic, advertising, and commercial art services. The adjoining Gallery II provides an overflow of representative art as well as being an Antique Mall housing several antique dealers with a broad variety of antiques and treasured collectibles.

Gallery owners are Barbara Hartley and Cloyde Wiley III.
