National Guard: Pesenting Old Glory


Virginia Army National Guard Staff Sergeant Tom Cockrell of Urbanna presents an American flag that flew over Bagram Airfield in Afghanistan to Sharon Darnell, coach of the Middlesex Parks and Recreation Girls Gymnastics Team.

The flag was flown over Headquarter Support Company, 276th Engineer Battalion, First Virginia Regiment during Operation Enduring Freedom in honor of the gymnastics team on May 23, 2009.
