Minor is new Virginia Oyster Shucking champ

Official results of the 60th Urbanna Oyster Festival Oyster Shucking contest were as follows:

Amateurs
3rd Place, with an adjusted time of 2:59, David Jackson of Urbanna.

2nd Place, with an adjusted time of 2:47, Dylan Southern of Newport News.

1st Place, with an adjusted time of 1:54, Joey McComas of Topping.

Professional Women
3rd Place, with an adjusted time of 3:59, Deborah Pratt of Jamaica.

2nd Place, with an adjusted time of 3:45, Clementine Macon-Boyd of Urbanna.

1st Place, with an adjusted time of 3:30, Isabella Macbeth of Charleston, S.C.

Professional Men
3rd Place, with an adjusted time of 5:14, Brandon Stone of Chesterfield.

2nd Place, with an adjusted time of 4:16, Davila Redmond of Urbanna.

1st Place, with an adjusted time of 3:59, Robert Minor of Gwynns Island.

Overall Winner
Robert Minor, with an adjusted time of 3:18; runner-up was Isabella Macbeth with an adjusted time of 3:41.

Davila Redmond was the defending men’s and overall champion.
