After months of renovations to the former Harrow’s Home Center building at Cooks Corner, Horn’s Middlesex Ace Hardware opened it’s doors in early June. On August 25-27 the new store celebrated its grand opening with three days of sales, giveaways, and events.

On August 25 there was a ribbon-cutting ceremony with various county officials, special sales in the store, and one lucky winner received a Craftsman toolbox.

On August 26 the first 100 hundred customers received an ACE bucket plus everything they could fit in the bucket was 20% off; 104.9 WIGO Country was onsite with a live broadcast; Virginia Commonwealth Bank was spinning the prize wheel; and representatives from Traeger and Sodastream were demonstrating their products. Also a lucky winner won a Weber Spirit Grill.

On August 27th the savings continued in the store and one winner won a $100 gift card.

“Horn’s Middlesex Ace Hardware looks forward to serving the residents of Middlesex County and part of their mantra is community first,” said owners Krystal and Graylend Horn.

Throughout the year the store will host several special events, including a Ladies Night in early December, a Grill Your Ace Off event spring 2018, and the second annual Horn’s Great Ace Lawnmower Race in early summer 2018. “We always welcome suggestions and are open to partnering with community events,” said the Horns.
