‘Halloween in the Park’ is Saturday at Holly Point

Public invited to free event

Ghosts, goblins, witches and plenty of candy and fun await all ages at this Saturday’s Halloween in the Park from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at Holly Point Nature Park in Deltaville.
Holly Point Nature Park in Deltaville is on the countdown for its Halloween in the Park on Saturday, October 31, from 6 to 8:30 p.m. 

Our newest participants  in the activities, both individuals and businesses, are Fred Crittenden, Barbara Vest, Keaton Garber, Brenda Radwanski, Ashley Kirby, Jane Cutler, Kris Scherrer, David and T.C. Moore, Chuck and Linda McGhinnis, Bill Cawthorn, West Marine-Deltaville, BB&T, Hammer Time Marine Inc., The Galley and Bella’s Pizza.   

“If there are any businesses or individuals out there interested in signing up, we will be glad to have your help,” said an event spokesperson. “We need costumed people to help in the park, and businesses or individuals willing to supply candy, tricks or treats, decorations, or tax-deductible donations.

“We will be in the park on Friday and Saturday getting ready for Halloween night,” continued the spokesperson. “All are welcome to tour and pick a spot, if you do not already have one.” 

The public is invited to attend Halloween trick-or-treat at this free event for the children and parents. Come dressed for trick-or-treating.
