Gloucester Arts on Main to present Comedy Night
On Saturday, June 22, from 6-9 p.m. there will be a Comedy Night presentation at Gloucester Arts on Main featuring two well-known local comedians, Lucas Bohn and Coach Tom Holaday. The evening will be emceed by Reese Williams from Gloucester radio station 99.1 FM.
Known as the little guy who generates big laughs, Lucas has shared the stage with Dave Chapelle, Jimmy Fallon and Pablo Francisco. He was runner-up in the Magners Comedy Festival and was awarded Best of the Fest at the Detroit Comedy Festival.
In addition to performing on stage, Lucas does voice-overs and has been featured on PBS, CBS, and Coastal Today. A bad boy with a good heart, Lucas has performed for charities and fundraisers such as Childhelp, Habitat for Humanity, and the George Washington Medical Center. Lucas also dedicates time to supporting our troops by working with The Comics on Duty World Tour.
Coach Tom Holaday first took up comedy in 1992 when he was inspired by the laughs his stories got from audiences at high school banquets, assemblies, pep rallies, and fundraisers. Now, a retired high school teacher, Holaday tours comedy clubs and speaks at corporate functions, bringing to the stage his unique and outrageously hilarious views of life as a father, teacher, and coach. Everyone has a family, went to high school, and enjoys sports (or at least is married to someone who does). All can relate to the clean comedy of Coach Holaday.
Gloucester Arts on Main invites the public to the Comedy Night event. There will be a cash bar and tickets can be bought at the gallery, at http://www.gloucesterarts.org, and also at the door.
