Girl Scouts donate food to Cryer Center

Girl Scout Troop 277 celebrated the 100th anniversary of Girl Scouts by having a food collection. The troop set a goal to collect over 100 items to be donated to the local food bank.
To kick-off the event, David Cryer from The Cryer Center at Locust Hill attended an afternoon troop meeting to talk to the girls about the importance of the food bank and how helpful it is to the community.
The girls surpassed their goal and the items were donated to The Cryer Center. The troop will have a celebration for achieving their goal.
