The public is invited to join Friends of Dragon Run for its meeting at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, February 26, in the Community Room of the Gloucester County Library in the Main Street Center at 6920 Main Street. Refreshments will be served prior to the meeting.

The guest speaker will be Mark Adams, a professional astronomer who works at the headquarters of the National Radio Astronomy Observatory (NRAO) in Charlottesville. He will speak on “The Invisible Universe of Radio Astronomy.” The presentation will describe how astronomers are exploring the near and distant universe in new and innovative ways with telescopes that detect radio waves, opening new scientific frontiers across every field of astronomy.
