First-ever Deltaville Seafood Festival is Saturday
Like the Colossus of old, the events and activities of the first Deltaville Seafood Festival stand astride all of Deltaville with one foot planted in the village area around the Deltaville Community Association (DCA), and the other foot on the waterfront at the Deltaville Maritime Museum and Holly Point Nature Park on Mill Creek. The 9 a.m.-9 p.m. festival this Saturday, May 24, offers seafood, festival food, crafts, services, tours, cruises, historic activities, music, model trains, exhibits and just plain fun for folks of all ages and interests.
Newsflash: Parking will now be available in the grass lot behind Coastal Comfort directly across from the DCA Campus. The parking donation is $5 per car. Overflow parking will be in the Deltaville Firehouse’s west lot, and handicapped parking will be on the east side of Jackson Farm Lane between the DCA building and Zoar Baptist Church.
For all the up-to-date activity information for both the DCA and Maritime Park campuses, schedules and details, see the related schedules and articles in this issue of the Sentinel or on the websites http://www.deltavilleseafoodfestival.com or http://www.deltavillemuseum.com.
