Farmers’ market & concert in Deltaville July 26

As a fitting follow-up to the feverish activity and fun of Family Boatbuilding Week, the Deltaville Maritime Museum and Holly Point Nature Park will host the July Farmers’ Market and annual concert by Robbin Thompson and Steve Bassett on Saturday, July 26. The farmers’ market will be open from 9 a.m.-1 p.m., and the Thompson/Bassett concert gates open at 4 p.m. Eileen Edmonds takes the stage at 5 p.m. and Robbin and Steve at 6 p.m.
Groovin’ in the Park, Deltaville Maritime Museum and Holly Point Nature Park’s casual, outdoor, Saturday evening concert series continues from 4-8 p.m. on July 26 featuring arguably Virginia’s best songwriting and performing duo, Steve Bassett and Robbin Thompson, live on the Waterfront Stage at 6 p.m. Robbin and Steve will be doing all your favorites as well as new tunes off their “Together Again” CD and Robbin’s “A Real Fine Day.” CD’s will be available at the concert.
Singer/songwriter Eileen Edmonds will open at 5 p.m.
Tickets are $10 per person. Children under 12 are admitted free.
